Carolyn Auffenberg, MD

Dr. Auffenberg graduated from Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine in 2011 with Honors in Bioethics. She then completed her training in general psychiatry at Northwestern University, followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Michigan, where her research focused on early childhood mental health. She has practiced psychiatry at multiple levels of care, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient psychiatry. Dr. Auffenberg values collaboration and partnership with patients, families, schools, and therapists to support each child’s unique strengths and challenges.
