Heather Bauer, MAC, LPC

Heather earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri in 1997. In 2015, she became certified in Life Planning through the Paterson Center in Denver, Colorado www.patersoncenter.com/lifeplan. She is a certified EMDR therapist and has 7 years of experience leading individuals and groups healing from the pain of abusive relationships. 

Heather brings over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. Her interests and specialties include serving adult clients with: 

• anxiety and depression

• Addiction struggles

• Relational loss

• PTSD/Trauma

• Emotional/verbal/sexual abuse

• Career/life goal challenges

Heather is passionate about guiding clients through an understanding of their relational story. Pain, whether relational or within work-life can be an invitation to make the changes necessary to grow. She believes with a deeper understanding of one’s past, growth toward a successful and healthy future is possible.
