Dr. Harvey attended college, medical school and residency all at Washington University in Saint Louis. In recent years Dr Harvey has subspecialized in interventional psychiatry, especially TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), esketamine, and other treatments that are primarily for patients who don't have a sufficient response to the usual treatments, such as medications and psychotherapy.
Dr. Harvey continues to serve on the volunteer faculty of Washington University, and has several research publications in Biological Psychiatry, Brain Stimulation, and elsewhere.
